She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rice, Sr. and Rosa Rice; her husband Ernest S. Walley, Jr.; and her sister Rose Rice. She is survived by: her brothers, James Rice and John Rice; her children, Cheryl Buchanan (Paul), Morrocca L. Bey, Lisa Goodwyn (Mark) and Brian K. Walley (Tammy); and her grandchildren, James Randy Walley, Sr. (Denise), Bernard Keys, Jr. (Keandra), Alysa Buchanan (Nicholas Cosby), Cassandra Gonzalez (Mark) and Courtney Hacker (Tariq).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Canaan Baptist Church (3011 New Castle Ave, New Castle, DE 19720).
