It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis William Prost (New Castle, Delaware), who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Prost and Clara Prost (Maurer); his siblings, Claude, Dorothy Prost and Muriel Meinhardt; his wife Lillian Jones Prost; his children, Louis Alan Prost and Pamelia Hofmann Klein; and his great grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Prost and Dylan Hofmann.

He is survived by: his children, Will Prost (late Eric), Robert (Diane), Louisa Lindell (Brendan) of New Castle County, Claire Holleran (Patrick) of New Castle County and Claudia Stallard (Earl) of New Castle County; and his cousins, Richard Hunt (Joy) and Barbara Gantner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
