We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2023, at the age of 96, Susan E. Coefield of New Castle, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Smith, Sr. and Susan Smith (McDermott); and her siblings, William F. Smith, Jr., Dorothy Allen, Ann Curran and Frances Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Donald B. Coefield; her stepchildren, Ginger McLynn (Jerry) of Somerville, NJ and Steven Vaughn (B. J.) of Franklin, TN; and her nieces and nephews, Reda Carey, Debbie Buchanan, Bernie Curran and William F. Smith IV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
