He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kelsie Miller; and his parents, Orley Hammond and Mildred Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Pat Hammond; his children, Lissa Miller (Gary Sexton), Lorri Avila (Leo) and TJ Hammond (Ann); his grandchildren, Sean (Lisa), Grace, Liliana, Carly of Leonardo, TJ and Alex; his great grandchild Charlotte; and his brother Jim.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (901 E Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
