With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Breeden of New Castle, Delaware, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father John Thomas Walker Sr.; her former life partner Harold G. Breeden; and her siblings, John Thomas Walker, Jr., Clarence Ray Walker, Rosalie Miller and Caroline Wright.

She is survived by : her husband DuPont; her sons, David N. Breeden (Karen) and Paul R. Breeden (AnnaMarie); and her granddaughters, Jennifer Breeden, Christine Morgan (Austen) and Ava Breeden.
