She is survived by: her children, John Gillespie of Newark, DE, Susan Hammond of Bear, DE, Alexander Gillespie III of Bear, DE, Valerie Reed (Michael) of Pace, FL, Norman Gillespie of Newark, DE, Otis Gillespie (Ann) of Newark, DE and Michael Ferris of Charlestown, MD.; her sisters, Jean Bratten of Smyrna, DE and Betty Goodman (Richard) of Aston Mills, PA; and her sister-in-law Harriet West of Boothwyn, PA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
