She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Tyne and Alice Tyne; her husband Robert John James Sr.; her son Robert John James, Jr.; her brother John Tyne; her children, Maureen James Chandler (John Kirk), Dr. Kenneth Joseph James (Susan) and Dr. Carol Jean Hoffman (David); her grandchildren, Melissa Anne James, Erin Chandler Hauck (Colin), David James Hoffman and Wyatt James Hoffman; and her cousin Dr. Oliver Harper (Sharon) of Phoenix, Arizona.. She was also cherished by two great grandchildren.
