He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Alfonso and Teresa Rivera (Sanchez); his siblings, Luis, Anibal, Willy, Louie and Anna; Brian.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bates Rivera; his daughter Diane Rivera Bennett; his former wife Dalila Rivera; his grandchildren, Britni, Jimmie, Payton and Nadia; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Angelina, Colton, Gabriel, Giovanni and Raina; his siblings, Hilda, Carmen, Elsie, Jeannie and Sammy; and his nephew Michael.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home (1000 N Dupont Hwy, Wilmington Manor, DE 19720). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
