It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Ann Green of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Grier and Catherine Grier (Murphy); her granddaughter Nicole Green; and her partner Sidney Redmile. She is survived by : her children, William A. Green IV (Virginia) and Sharon Walinski. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her four great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Beverly's name to Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4000 Nexus Drive, Suite W3-300, Wilmington, DE 19803.
