He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Jones Dunlap Dean and John Dunlap; and his wife Katherine Simpers Dunlap. He is survived by: his children, Carol Dunlap Hines (Glenn), Kathy Dunlap Galloway (Don), Randy L. Dunlap and Carroll M. Dunlap, II (Tammy Slonecker Dunlap); his grandchildren, Kevin Wiles, Heather Pugh Hernandez, Jodi Grabusky, Randy Dickerson and Camren Tyler Dunlap; and his stepbrother Howard Dean. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
