He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Anna Maass (Schafer). He is survived by: his wife Renate Riemer Maass; his children, Jean Margann Maass, Robert Charles Maass (Lisa Maat Maass), William George Maass (Martha Maass) and Janet Maass Fitz; his grandchildren, Krystel, Charlie, April, Katie (Johnny), Kendra (Justin) and Karoline; and his great grandchildren, Carmen, Charlie, Andrea, Brystel and Hunter.
