It is with sadness that the passing of David Thompson (Newark, Delaware) is shared. David passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his children, Keith, Diana, Joey and Levi; his brother Jimmy; his nieces, Lily, Delilah and Charlotte; and his granddaughter Casey. He is also survived by his little buddy Captain, countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the On (776 S Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702).
