Elbert Campbell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elbert Campbell of Newark, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elbert Campbell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Campbell (Taylor) and Jessie James Campbell; and his siblings, Wayne Campbell and Hilda Reynard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Campbell; his children, Dawn Hearn (Mark) and John Campbell (Joi); his grandchildren, Ashley, Maygan Campbell and Daniel McClay; and also Kathy Hawthorne. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Butch's name to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Delaware.
