She was predeceased by : her parents, Green Coleman and Riney Caroline Coleman (Thacker); her husband Robert B. Thomas; her son James M. Thomas; and her siblings, Argus Coleman, William Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, Emogene Murphy, Eugene Coleman, Gladys Tucker and Rosetta Benner.

She is survived by : her children, Darenda S. Olsen (Gary) of Franklin, TN, Pamela A. Couden of Middletown and Randall P. Thomas (LeeAnne) of Elkton, MD; and her siblings, Bobby Coleman (Phoebe) of Newark, Bonita Stephenson of Irmo, SC and Betty Phillips of Mountain City, TN. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
