With sadness, we share the passing of Franklin McCool Lum of Newark, Delaware. Franklin, born on October 13, 1941, passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Edward Lum, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Kirkpatrick Lum; and his brothers, Melvin Lum, Jr., Patrick Lum, Jack Lum and Eugene Lum.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly A. Lum of Chesapeake City, Maryland; his daughters, Tammi Wahlig of Fair Hill, Tracy Imperatrice (Robert Jr) of Middletown, JoLynn Bunting (Wen) of Lewes, Jennifer Ketchiff (Price) of Princeton and Tiffany Biddle (Matthew) of Aberdeen, Maryland.; his stepson David Walker of Conowingo; and his sister Mary Porter of Bel Air, Maryland.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
