He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Dawson; his wife Helen Zebley; his brothers, Don and Jim; and his grandson Alex.
He is survived by: his father Irwin Dawson; his children, Ted (JoAnn) of North East, MD, Lynn Looper (Rudy) of Granite Falls, NC, Patty Vincent (Wolfgang) of St and Dan (Anita) of Coatesville, PA; his grandchildren, Zach, Nick, Clint, Ross, Kurt, Max and Morgan; and his caregiver Miriam. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
