He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Meeks and Annie Newman Meeks; and his sister Carole Archer. He is survived by: his wife Carol T. Meeks; his daughters, Caroline Meeks of Newark, DE and Meredith Walraven of Lincoln University, PA; his grandchildren, Brittany DeRicco, John Knies, Jacob Knies, Dayton Walraven and Reese Walraven; his great grandchildren, Ralphie and Brance Hutchinson; and his siblings, Ronald Meeks and Myra Jean Lee.
