He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. McGlynn and Alice McGlynn (McKendry); his wife Mary; his siblings, John, Charles, Monsignor Daniel McGlynn, Sheila, Brother Joseph McGlynn, Cap and Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Bridget McGlynn (Sharkey) and Joseph McGarrity.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Macomber (Ronald), Eileen McLaughlin (John), Rosemarie Hartnett (Jeffrey) and Matthew; his sister Eileen McGarrity; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth McGlynn (Gilmore) and Mary Jo McGlynn (Gaudioso). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church (2316 Fairhill Ave, Glenside, PA 19038). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
