We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2025, at the age of 83, Janette Saxton of Newark, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wintzer R. Cook and Margaret Cook; her sister Patricia Lyons; and her husband David C. Saxton. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Saxton Sr. and Lisa Saxton; her grandchildren, Daniel Saxton Jr. (Danielle Cobb) and Amber Matthews (Kiyona Matthews); her great grandchildren, Jade David Saxton and Luca West; and her pet Albert Einstein.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Longwood Cemetery (945 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348).
