With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. Vernon Jr. of Newark, Delaware, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Prizer (Catts) and Carlie Vernon; his half-sister Drein Vernon; his brother Thomas Vernon; and his stepsiblings, Faye and Bruce Levy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Diane (Ken Love), Linda (John Hicks), Cheryl Zimmermann, Ann Sanford, Lindsay Levy, Maureen Gold, Sean Vernon and Gillian Vernon; and his stepsister Nina Locardi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
