She is survived by : her husband Brad McCord; her children, Wendy Krieger-Sheppard (Charles "Shep") and Todd Krieger (Lisa); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Meri, Aiden Krieger, Margaret and Owen Sheppard; her brother Dr. Michael Songer; and her pets, Bogart and Charlie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
