Shorter; and her siblings, Danny Cox (Toni) of Chesapeake, VA, George Lyle (Patricia) of Elkton, MD, Linda Aguayo (Eduardo) of Elkton, MD, Dean Cox of Elkton, MD, Elaine Jefferson of Elkton, MD and Nancy Cox of Newark, DE.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Funeral Home (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Elkton VFW 12.
