She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Whibley and Mary Whibley (Bodden); her husband George Melvin Dempsey; and her siblings, Robert Whibley and Ruth Ann Outten.

She is survived by : her son Brian Dempsey (Cindy); and her granddaughter Brianna Dempsey.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peg may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
