She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Smith (Nevius) and Charles Smith; her siblings, Patricia Barton and Ronald "Butch" Smith; and her brother-in-law Dennis Yerger.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Rishel; her children, Stephanie Rishel and F. Geoffrey Rishel (Amanda); her grandchildren, Adelyn and Emma Rishel; her sister Jill Yerger; and her nibling Kiley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation or Faithful Friends Animal Society.
