We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2021, Michael J. Guarino D. of Newark, Delaware, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Angelo A. Guarino; his brother Julius Guarino; and his sister-in-law Alice Guarino. He is survived by: his mother Clorinda Guarino (Fioravanti); his wife Patricia A. Guarino; his children, Andrew (Mona Guarino), Robert Guarino (Irene Su-Guarino), Jeffrey (Nicole Guarino) and Suzanne (Daniel Wanninger); his grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Matthew, John, William, Charlie Guarino, James Su-Guarino, Lucille and Elaine Wanninger; his brother Carl Guarino; his sister-in-law Rosemary Guarino; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Andrew Cichanowsky; and his close friend Steven Grubbs. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, to enter, masks are mandatory and vaccination cards are required by all, (including children) to show full vaccination status.

“Dad, was a patient of his in 2004. I had to explain to Dad initially that the Dr. Was light-hearted and funny. That helped ease tension about Dad’s CLL. He said he would treat him to the end to lengthen life. Dad did get used to his cheerful ways and I liked them too. We enjoyed his humor and some Phila.
