It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Thomas Unger Jr. (Newark, Delaware), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard T. Unger, Sr. and Ellen Mary Ann Unger (Dechanso); his wife Phyllis Wiggins Unger; and his children, Richard T. Unger, III (Kathy), Robert Unger, Peter Unger (Rebekah), Lindsey Unger Adams and Rachel Unger. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
