It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Getsmer Biddle III in Newark, Delaware, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Getsmer Biddle Jr. and Mary Biddle (Coyle); and his siblings, Dorothy Veasey and Patrick Biddle. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Biddle; his children, Jenny McGee (Mark), R. Kenneth Biddle (Malinda), John Biddle (Azinet) and Kelly Burton (Gary); and his sisters, Nan Furness and Marianne Cahill. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (15 Gender Rd, Newark, DE 19713). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (15 Gender Rd, Newark, DE 19713).
