Samuel Comly Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Comly of Newark, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Samuel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Samuel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Comly and Gertrude; his brother Edward F. Comly, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Robert Davis. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sisters, Susan C. Davis and Mary L. (Ron Farmer); and his siblings-in-law, John G. Bale (Diane) and Janice DiMeglio (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
