He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. McGeehan, and Rae McGeehan, Sr. (Rollins); and his brother Alan McGeehan. He is survived by: his children, William J. McGeehan III (Robin Sartin) and Andrea L. Maggio; his former wife Sandra L. McGeehan; and his grandchildren, Tori, Hailey, Cheyenne, Aryanna McGeehan and MJ Maggio.
