He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas McKay and E. Elizabeth Williams (Colwell); his siblings, Betty Ann Hutchens and Jay Clark McKay; and his stepfather Harvey Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Lidia F. McKay (Kluger); his children, Rebecca Wilcox (Bryan) and Patrick McKay; and his grandson Tyler Wilcox. He is also survived by 5 nieces; and 2 nephews.
