John McCormick Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 11, 2026, John McCormick (Newport, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Colleen Daniels (Tad) of Bear and Jay (Lauren Reffay) of Newark; and his grandsons, Joshua Daniels of Bear and Zackery Daniels (Emilee) of Duff, Tennessee..

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in his name to the Delaware City Fire Company or the Guiding Eyes for the Blind to train dogs for those who suffer from significant vision impairment.
