He was predeceased by: his wife Judith J. Thompson Clifton; and his parents, Robert Sr. Clifton and Jean Clifton. He is survived by: his nieces, Jen Thompson and Kim Rykaczewski; his brother-in-law Jay Thompson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reese, Jude and Luke; and his cousins, Curt Clifton Sr. (Lisa), Karen Clifton Merrit (Ken) and Curtis Clifton Jr..
