Cora Burgan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cora Burgan of Ocean View, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Parr and Mary Parr (Connolly); her husband Vernon Burgan, Jr.; her sister Sue Parr; and her brother-in-law Charles "Buck" Burgan.
She is survived by: her son Vernon D. Burgan of Georgetown, Delaware; her sister-in-law Connie Burgan of Westminster, Maryland; her nephew Brian Burgan (Barbara); her friends, Teresa Ciekot (Vernon) of Dagsboro, Lori Ciccanti, Joseph Ciccanti (Annie) and Dawn Marie Alcantara (Rey); Brendin Burgan, Cory Ciekot and Leah O'Boyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that attendees bring a canned good to support the Feed My Sheep Ministry at Mariner's Global Methodist Church, 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE 19970.
