We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gordon Evans Wood Sr. of Ocean View, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kenneth Wood and Hilda Wood (Evans); and his grandmother Nellie Daisey Evans. He is survived by: his wife Patricia K. Wood; his sons, Richard Kenneth Wood II (Betsy), Robert Kimmel Wood (Claire), Gordon Evans Wood Jr. (Lauren) and David Neal Wood (Erin); his stepsons, Adam Hill (Jill) and Brad Hill (Theresa); and his sisters, Lois Dolby (Bruce) and Susan Timmons (late Tom) of Clarksville, Delaware.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ocean View Church of Christ (55 West Ave, Ocean View, DE 19970). A memorial service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
