He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Eugene Franklin and Helen Irene Franklin; and his siblings, George Franklin, Marybelle Kent and Ethel Hoff.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Darlene Franklin; his children, Sonta Franklin, Solita Baptiste, Sloane Franklin and Simeon Franklin; his grandchildren, Alexis Young, Shawna Greenberg, Zachary Baptiste, Arianna Penn and Fox Franklin; and his great grandchildren, Stella Young, Margot Young and Lucas Greenberg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
