We are sad to announce that, on June 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jeannette E. Novakoski of Ocean View, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Staniewski and Jesse Staniewski (Zukowski); and her siblings, Rita Thomas, Mary Uzarowski, Helen Staniewski and Raymond Staniewski.

She is survived by: her children, Paul D. Rix (Carolyn) of Dahlonega, GA and Christine Novakoski of Ocean View, DE; her grandchildren, Nathan Novakoski, Conor Rix, Duncan Rix and Tristan Rix; and her nieces and nephews, Tommy Uzarowski, Sharon Schmedes, Raymond Staniewski, Jr., Michael Staniewski, Kathy Yokemick and David Staniewski.

“God saw Aunt Jeanette getting tired so He took her home. She will always have a special place in my heart as our lives entwined throughout the years. So many memories from Sunday dinners at Busha’s. Eating chocolate crawlers and getting chocolate on the bed sheets. Playing jacks to playing board games. Her love and kindness always shined through even on those cloudy days.
