He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Lyons and Elizabeth Mary Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Lyons; and his siblings, Beth Mintzer (Joseph), Mary Ellen Luongo (Don) and Bill Lyons (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
