He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Hoppa and Anna Hoppa (Blackowicz); his brother John Hoppa, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Lary Fitzgerald and Patricia Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hoppa (Moxley); his son Eric Hoppa (Maura); his grandsons, Evan and Sean Hoppa; his siblings, James Hoppa (Nancy), Mary Ann McCourt (Dennis), Edward Hoppa (Karol) and Sue Houff (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Hoppa and Ronald Moxley (Marianna). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
