Maxine Del Balzo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Del Balzo of Ocean View, Delaware, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Maxine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Tony Del Balzo; and her parents, Larry Leff and Mildred Leff (Chicky). She is survived by: her husband Joe; her brother Harold Leff (Terri); and her siblings-in-law, Michael Del Balzo (Bonnie), Vince Del Balzo (Maureen Kennedy) and Théa Del Balzo. She is also survived by two nephews and seven nieces, seven great nephews, four great nieces, and many more "adopted" nieces, nephews, and their children.
