She was predeceased by : her husband William R. Powell Sr.; and her son William R. Powell Jr.. She is survived by : her daughter Carol P. Hurley; her son-in-law D. Brent Hurley; her granddaughter Kristen L. Low (William J. Low); her great grandchild William Fisher Low; and her siblings, Judy Bennett (Edgar), I. Robert Willey (Carolyn) and Gary E. Willey (Linda). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ocean View Chapel (38040 Muddy Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Historic Village in Ocean View- PO Box 576, Ocean View, Delaware 19970.
