He is survived by: his daughter Tara Tyre (Charles); his granddaughters, Ashley Tyre, Lauren Tyre and Sarah Tyre; his great grandchildren, Isabella Barton and Penelope Barton; his sister V. Carol Evans; his niece Kira Boothe; and his nephew Shawn Junker.
