We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gerry H. Orton of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, born in Lewes, Delaware. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Orton and James Richard; his sister Tina; his brother-in-law Tom Smokovich; and his nephew Toby Smokovich.
He is survived by: his siblings, J. Richard Orton (Linda), Tammy Campbell (Mike) and Rob Orton (Dana); his siblings' children, Heather Meredith, Patrick, Ryan, Brendan Campbell, Justin, Lindsay Orton, Connor and Kyle Orton; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Savannah, Liam, Becca, Aubrey, Mason, Jackson, Callum, Ashlynn, Colton, Kendal, Blake, Ella and Christopher. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
