He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Riggin and Elizabeth Riggin (Brumbley); his brother John Riggin; and his sons, Eddie (Nancy) and Lyle (Patrice).
He is survived by: his close friend Sarah Botte; his children, Deborah Murray (James), Elizabeth Dorman (Bill Hadder) and Jorin Botte; his pet Grace; his former wife June Riggin (Don Hearn); and his uncle Ed. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and Uncle Ed to his many nieces and nephews — all with their own Pop-Pop.
