He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bruce "Ted" and Adrian Currey McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Bolin McDaniel; his children, James D. McDaniel (Pamela) of Bridgeport, W. Va and Donald E. McDaniel of Nutter Fort; and his stepchildren, Dawn Darr (Pat) of Reedville, VA, David Faust (Tammy) of Odenton, MD, Tammy Potter of Midland, VA, Barbara Garrison (Joel) of Edgewater, MD and Sean Faust of Odenton, MD. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
