He was predeceased by: his father Floyd F. Bassett, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Louise "Buttons" Bassett; his brother David Thomas Bassett; his sister-in-law Kathy; his sibling's children, Colleen Bassett Hood, Kelsey Bassett and Kevin Bassett; his cousins, Pam Holbrook and Tron Thornton; and his uncle Mike Bassett (Lynda).
