It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva W. Hemshrot of Seaford, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on June 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene A. Hemshrot; her parents, Dorothy C. Williams and Alfred A. Williams; and her brother Wayne Williams. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Kaye Aiken (Hemshrot); her son-in-law Edward G. Aiken III; and her grandson Edward G. Aiken IV (Roselyne Montanez-Aiken). She is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
