He is survived by: his wife Judy Batson; his daughters, Sheree Thomas (Cornelius), Jessica Smith (Rykeem) and Meriah Peacock; his great grandchildren, CJ Thomas, Kyra Showell, Stephen Thomas, Lydia Thomas, Kayla Smith-Sanchez, Kehlani Smith, Jeremiah Thomas, Rykeem Smith Jr., Melanie Thomas and Cornelius Thomas III; and his sisters, Gloria Batson, Joyce Jackson, Marian Stevens, Louise Robinson, Janet Bridges and Vanessa Batson. He is also survived by 55 nieces and nephews.
