We announce the death of Brenda Wheatley (Seaford, Delaware), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parent Joanne Hastings; and her son-in-law John Sammons. She is survived by: her husband Greg Hignutt; her sons, Joseph Rose Sr. (Heather) and Bryce Wheatley (Alicia); the parent of her children Terry; her children, Lisa Marley (Dan), Tara Sammons, Marrisa Vinson (Steve), Jeremy Hignutt and James Hignutt; her sister Cheryl Bailey (Mike); and her aunt Phyllis (Cinni). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as extended family.
