It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Crystal Jewell Chaffinch of Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Earl E. Chaffinch Sr.; her daughter Crystal French; her parents, Thelma Stone and Randal Stone; and her siblings, Jean Smith, Janetta Hancock, James Walters and Jarrell Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Wheatley (Thomas), Earl Chaffinch Jr. (Leanne) and Paula Moore (Floyd); her sister Janet Warren (Rich); and her grandchildren, Allison Rebman, John French III, Nicholas Wheatley, Heather French, Matt Wheatley, Brooke Brittingham, Hannah Moore and Floyd Moore IV. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to the Blades Volunteer Fire Company at 200 E 5th St Blades, DE.
