She is survived by: her mother Elsie Blackford; her son Rick Carney (Denise); her granddaughters, Sarah Messick and Melanie Cobo (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Evan, Lily, Emma, Ava, Grace, Aubree and Richard. She is also survived by extended family members, neighbors, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Seaford or Alley Cat Allies, organizations that reflected Fay's enduring faith and compassion for animals.
